Wow, two hours is a long time! But better safe than sorry.

With most clay bars, usually two to three strokes are all that's necessary. After that, unless you have some very difficult overspray, it's not going to do much.

We did a car with terrible overspray. The surface felt like sandpaper and after a few (3-4) it was as smooth as new.

Usually takes me about 20 minutes to run the bar over my cars.
