| I've always been able to change my oil without need to jack the car up. This was true up until the Aurora (even on the Corvette I could do that). The Aurora has plenty of room for me, but not for the drain pan. It holds 8 quarts of oil, so I had to buy a bigger pan for it. Unfortunately it is too tall to fit under the car... I really hate having to jack it, though.
I do as much maintenance myself as I can. I just never trust anyone else. Nobody else cares as much for my cars as I do.
I agree that disposing of the oil is probably the biggest pain of doing it yourself. |
