Just a rant...
Got an Edge adaptor and some pads for my
Meg's polisher. I tried the system out. Switching between 4 and 6 inch pads was a brease. The pads were centered perfectly each time. Great! Then disaster hit. I was doing the bumper of my car with a green 6 inch pad, some compound and too much pressure. Going over an edge in the bottom portion of the bumper and managed to remove a fleck of paint. Damn! Apparently I struck the recessed plastic "backing" plate at the center of the pad. Fortunately I was able to touch the area up as it's in a place that is not noticeable. Back to backing plates for me...
