Alcohol might work. Another idea might be to try a plastic razor blade to scrape it off, if it really is that hard.

off the shelf drug store rubbing alcohol will work
(straight isopropyl or denatured alcohol would be even more powerful and might be overkill, unless you have a more stubbon stain)
