So I started out with the floor mats that way if it wasn't working like I needed it to I could just simply powerwash them out before they took hold. I used SEM carpet/vinyl dye. The previous color was like an off oatmeal mixed with random shades of brownish here and there. Just a bad dye job.




I took out the seats.. And taped off the rest.





The new color actually matched his dash better.





After I got the initial coat on to give it the base I needed to let that set in so I went to the exterior and started getting that back in shape...

First up I taped off a test panel (half the hood LOL) to see what needed to be done. Obviously wetsanding it down was going to be needed. So that was step one.





And then to get it back to a good gloss I went with some Evercoat Compound medium duty followed up by Danase's swirl abolisher system





And finally topped it off with some good ol Ultrafina SE. My half and half pics fuzzed up.. This is about the time I dropped my camera for those following that story...



But once I got the process down I went with it and came up with this for a nice solid finish.
