For the PC, I never prime pads and don't recommend it for the simple reason that it takes a long time to break down a polish with the PC, and priming the pad will just extend that time without further benefits. However, with
M105 polish, which I usually use on a 5.5" white pad on the PC/G110, I do prime the pad a bit the first time because it helps with the initial correction. After, I brush out the dust and keep reapplying less polish. I'll do a video soon on PC/5.5" pads.
