I have been asked about what I could do with one of these bikes as far as detailing. I am curious as to how these were painted (thin, soft, paint type, etc) and how modern abrasive compounds and polishes would react. Any other advice is welcome as well as I haven't worked on anything like this before.
I have yet to see it in person but this is an identical model (or very close to it):
