Why don't you put the wire on the front
I think you cannot avoid it...Rubbing (if it is the correct word) the towel on the car it creates static electricity....As for the shock it is not because of the car,it is because of you...It depends on what your interior is made of,what clothes,how many time you was sitting in the car etc....
As for the dust you can use FK425 QD or FK1000P...They contains antistatic agents and you can see a small difference....
