I have bought 6 sets of tires from Tirerack over the years, none of them were more than 6 months old
Oh and there are definitely better and cheaper tires than Michelin. I got off of the Michelin band wagon a long time ago after two sets on my Benz. Don't ignore the Coopers and the Kumhos you'll be pleasantly surprised about how far they have come. Lots of choices out there, Tirerack's reviews are a valuable resource and you can punch in your car make year on their website. Good luck.
