I use UF because it works consistently well on all finishes. After the initial correction I was left with some micro-marring, mind you I was using a medium polish on a fairly soft pad with a cyclo. That combo rarely leaves me with any micro marring so I decided I needed to follow up with something that would certainly leave a clean, mar free finish.
UF IMO adds very little if anything to a paint finish so I used the EVP prime on a blue
lake country pad to really jewel the finish. UF on its own has a pretty long work time but with the EVP I was able to jewel the finish for several more minutes and vary rpm without building a ton of heat. I enjoy finishing with the rotary anyway. Essentially I was removing minimal amounts of CC over a long period of time (the proprietary oils in the EVP disperse heat on the finish) so I want left with perfectly leveled paint both swirl and hologram free. Th result I found was quite dramatic after polishing.
