I have been using the 7000 series for about 7 or 8 years now. Nothing else can handle my coarse hair. I can get a closer cut than with a mach3, and that is important to me because I get a 5PM shadow at 10AM. Be prepared for buying the refills. One lasts about a month for me and I empty my shavings before I put it in the base for cleaning.
