I have a Phillips Speed XL electric and I am fairly happy with it. I use it with a lubricating spray that guides it along. Without the spray, it will drag and is generally unpleasant to use. I don't know if that's the same with all electrics or not. It's not afraid of water and easy to clean. Press a button and an attachment comes out to trim your beard.

Performance-wise, I think I might get a slightly better shave manually, but a manual razor is much more costly over the long run, must be replaced frequently, requires soap or shaving foam, and it can't trim your beard. In order to match performance, I have to go over an area in different directions to catch every hair.
