Yes you would use it after polishing before a LSP

No KSG will not bond to an oil based glaze(all the glazes you list are oil based)

so you can use a wax instead of the KSG
or use an acrylic based glaze like DWG before the KSG

IMO some glazes do hide a little but not much
but don't be surprised if they don't hide like you want
