I'm sure that GM and the other US automakers are a more wothy cause. Or they could just be ingorant, do nothing and let them fail. Another voice of reason. Thanks. And the hundreds of thousands of unemployed American's is just the GM employees. Both the Center for Automotive Research and Case Western University estimate around 2 million people when you count the suppliers, dealers, and all the businesses dependent on them. And if it affects Ford, even for temporary shut downs, figure another 3 million "temporary" layoffs that could go six months or longer.
