That Canada (the one that actually exists, not the one you've created in your mind) is pretty different from the one you're describing.
Oh, and if the U.S is what's keeping us from being attacked, who the heck is protecting Australia. Again, for the geographically challenged that's the big island in the bottom right of the map, not Greenland or Antarctica.

Picus: the first quote was about socialism vs. capitalism. It was a response to post #6. No reference to Canada intended. I'm not sure why you are being sarcastic about me knowing where Canada is.

Sorry you took offense, I didn't mean to offend you.
I've only been to Canada once, so I can't say how it really is.
BTW: Why is everything more expensive in Canada? Is it to pay for the socialism...oops, I meant social-programs, sorry?
As far as map-reading goes. Australia is NOT directly south of the U.S.(its off the African Coast in the Southern Hemisphere), that would be Mexico and further south would be the South American continent. (unless YOU are holding your map upside-down)
One more thing, the comment about the U.S. keeping Canada from being overtaken was a joke, notice the "hehe" afterwards? Its not funny if you have to explain it, try and keep up, haha
