I think you are out of line calling him nuts, counselor! Racism is a 2 way street. As a successful Black friend of mine said,"Get over it!" To many people don't take responsibility for their lives and blame every one else and things that happened in the past for THEIR lack of control over their own destinies. I am not talking about only one race or ethnicity here. One of my favorite movies is The Godfather. Well written, great acting, superb story line, but the most powerful thing about that movie is the message. A child is tossed onto the shores of the U.S. and after witnessing the murder of his parents at a young age decides that HE WILL NOT BE A VICTIM. He takes control of his destiny albeit through dubious undertakings, but the important thing is he decides he won't become a puppet on a string. If people would only free themselves of the strings then they can become successful and not depend on quota systems, handouts and government aid. I have witnessed this first hand after being forced out of a major corporation at 47 and now I am holding my own as a real estate agent. It's not easy, but ANYONE has the capability if they apply themselves. Every day is a challenge, but I look at them as opportunities.
