Credit? Didn't those cars get bought by the parents for the kids? I thought that is the way it was now...in my day if you wanted to have a car in HS/college you got a job, saved your money, and bought a POS until you were out and had a job, then you went and got a loan for your dream car. Today it seems the kids get a brand-new car from their parents the day they get their license.
