You'll have to explain why that is scary, I can't really figure it out. Acorn seems to be a political action group (loosely speaking) that works and advoctates for low income housing, etc. As part of their outreach into those communities, they were apparenlty hired by the Obama primary campaign to provide some voter registration efforts, and they have endorsed his campaign.

This "ACORN" term has only surfaced in the last day or two, you'll have to enlighten us as to what the problem is. Both parties have organizations that endorse their candidates, and both parties/campaigns have voter registration/mobilization efforts which are of course, mainly intended to get out voters for THEIR party.

I don't know how many voters already have their mind made up...maybe 80-90%, I don't know why at this point there needs to be this vitriol surrounding the guy you didn't choose (from either side).

If one guy likes Zaino and the other likes Poorboy's, can't we just leave it at that? Do we have to attack Sal's or Steve's religion, ethnicity, friends, associations, TV shows they watch, soap they use? It may be relevant, but at this point it's not pertinent. All this is doing is getting Americans pissed off at each other. We should just shut up about this until election day, and go vote.

And Todd, I think you can safely vote for McCain, that mortgage buyout plan of his has everybody scratching their head...he's never going to do that. We're at the point in the campaign...I think Obama called it "silly season", where they are both saying ridiculous things to try to close the deal...in the debate McCain pulled out that (socialist) mortgage whopper and Obama all of a sudden was in favor of offshore drilling...Obama was the hawk in the mountains of Afghanistan, while McCain was saying that was crazy...I think they forgot which parties they were in for a minute...
