Something to hide??? LOL
No, but let me ask you what it means when you say "who is believed to have links to Al Qaeda". I remember being told about the "bonafide intelligence" about WMD, which was wrong. How do you and I know who has links to anything or anyone?
Let me tell you a quick story about me, to allay any of your fears... my grandfather came to America in 1924 and eventually moved to Canada, but his reason for coming this way is because his father (my GG) was murdered by "islamic fundamentalists". My grandmother (who lives in Detroit), has the same story. Her father was murdered by Islamists as well. I get it because it has hit me personally, but you can't discard the Constitution and what the founding fathers wanted because of scare tactics and fear mongering.
The Constitution protects us both, watering it down only exposes us closer to the tyranny the Founding Fathers feared.
