I'm going to tell it like it is. There are some whites that will never vote for a Black man to do nothing. They will cheer for their favorite team, football, basketball, baseball, whatever. But when it comes down to them sitting at the same table with a Black Man and eating. Taboo! Not Way Hoesa!
Unless you have walked in a Black Mans shoes, suffered ill treatment. Been refused food,or service ,or a job, opr housing. Or go to a hospital and been denied treatment. Sent to the back door. Stood up on the bus. Threatened ,beat hanged ,imprisoned because of your skin color. You do not have a Clue what it is to be Black in America.
As far as reading, I am very well read, but not Rolling Stone Magazine which also owns US magazine. Both have put out terrible stories about Palin and R.S. has been sending out their latest issue with a story on her unsolicited to teens. I would vote for J.C. Watts for office but not Obama and it has nothing to do with race, just his associations and beliefs. Of course if he or any other conservative black ran they would immediately be called an uncle tom or worse. I will not ever understand what it is like to be black because I am white. I do have several black friends and grew up in a mixed suburb of Chicago, went to school with Doc Rivers older brother. I have been the victim of reverse discrimination because they had to hire a minority to fill a nonsense quota deal. I was also a victim of discrimination when my company fired me several years ago. I won my lawsuit, but that feeling is horrible and I am sorry that people have to go thru that.
