I had both SIP and "Final Polish" purchased from you a year or so ago. I wanted something with very little cut, to use as a final polish/clean up/jeweling. So I used the table on the Menzerna page of your web site and saw that "Mico Polish" had a cut of 1.0versus SIP of 3.5 and Final Polish of 3.0.

BUT, when I get the Mico Polish and look on the label, there is an indicator scale on the bottom for cut. And looking at the Final compared to the Micro, I see no difference (in fact if anything, the Mico indicated slighly more cut than Final) in where they fall on the scale. In short, the scales on the labels, do not match your table.

So which is right and why does this have to be confusing?

BTW, I used SIP, followed by the Mico and love the results - great products, just confusing.

Keep in mind that Menzerna rates their finishing polishes, polishes, compounds etc separately. A 3 on the finishing polish scale does not equal 3 on the compound scale.

With that being said, the differences between Micro and Final polish are minimal, being that they are both fine finishing polishes. AFAIK Micro polish is slightly less abrasive, though.
