This question goes out to all my Canadians. Simple really, What is the process for obtaining prescription medications in Canada ? Example 1; In the US you have to visit a doctor, He will issue a written prescription, which you take to the pharmacy to have filled. Example 2; In Mexico you can walk into the pharmacy, and request your medications without a written prescription, or a visit to the doctor. What is Canadian law on this issue ? Im told its similar to Mexico ? Im going to Niagra on the Ontario side. When traveling I dont like to carry my medications over boarders as it could create a headache with Customs. The medication in question is Hydromorphone.
