Actually, I really don't wear jeans all that often..I'd still like to find something flattering though.

Could you maybe melt/dehorn your carry gun to were it's not so hard on your clothes or is it just a constant-friction issue? My rear sights seem mighty smooth/rounded over, but then I'm not carrying all the time and they might do more damage than I'd expect.
jfelbab- How do you handle the shrinkage issue when specifying the inseam?
I'll buy four pairs of seemingly identical cotton pants (unfinished/unhemmed), launder them a few times before having the inseams done, and find that they don't all shrink exactly the same.
And yeah, Lands End has some nice stuff, especially for the money; I used to buy their dress/casual shirts and I can't remember *ever* wearing one out.
DavidB- I have the same waist as you, just a few (quite a few!) less inches of inseam
