Ha-Ha...this forum subject made me smile!

I was in the 101st Airborne from 1961-1968 and used the t-shirt and/or wet cotton ball to polish my jump boots.

The final LSP (as it were) was a swipe of the cotton ball soaked in Johnson's Hard Gloss Glo-Coat floor wax. Kind of like adding a sealant to your work LOL. It added protection especially against the hot summer sun (which would melt all your work)
