The Wolfgang Tire & Wheel Cleaner mentioned in the article is very safe for your wheels and very effective at getting them clean. Spray the wheels with the wheel cleaner and then you can use a mitt, spong or brush to agitate and loosen the break dust, then rinse the wheels thoroughly. I'm a big fan of the EZ Detail Brush to agitate the wheel cleaner. Once the wheels are clean, use DP Wheel Glaze to add a layer of protection and make future cleanings easier.
