Re: Best for soft honda paint

I polished an 04 Accord with NBP paint about two months ago for a close friend. I topped it with FK 1000P, and he's STILL loving it.

Guys, I started this thread yesterday What should the penalty be... and didn't get much in the way of specific product info.

Following the comments in this thread, it sounds like my use of the rotary on the Honda was a BIG mistake. Oh, well. I had no idea paint could be so soft after working for years on BMW/MBz/VW/Audi where I could crank away all day with an aggressive technique.

Problem is, I think I've sold all my milder polishes over the past year or two thinking I'd never use them again. Looks like I may need to re-order some of the fine 1Z product line unless somebody has an alternate rec. I've really got to see what's remaining on the shelves in the basement.

Specific concern: Suggestions for an LSP that will last the winter and be a good match for this paint job?

Thx.
