On harder paints or paint with more severe swirls, you may benefit from using a polishing pad to get a little more cut. For example I may use:
Menzerna 106FA - White Polishing Pad
Menzerna Micro Polish PO 87MC - Grey Finishing Pad
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 - Red LSP Pad

I have a 2008 infiniti G35 in platinum graphite. Does Infiniti have hard paints? I probally should have gotten the 85rd. It is a 3 month old car. Oh well!
