| Re: 98 BMW with bad swirls.....HELP That's alot of lsp's I'd ask how much you're willing to do all those steps for. I myself if they don't want full correction, show car shine, keep it to just a simple clay, polish (turtle wax premium polishing compound because it's cheap and leaves almost no swirls when used properly, and is much gentler than the old paste polish in the tub), swirl remover and 1 wax. The finish usually looks good enough to charge 250 for. And I don't like to cut into paint so much since if they've let it get that bad once, it'll happen again and you'll again have to cut into their paint again. I say whatever is left, live with it because I can remove it but it's only doing them a disservice because their paint will be left thinner and if they let it go again and again between corrections they risk paint failure from all the heavy duty polishing. |
