WD-40 also works great on removing some paint, my guess is it'll do about the same as the mineral spirits that
dionnfr mentioned. If that doesn't work I'd move up to a good clay..... if you use an aggressive clay, like
Clay Magic Red, expect to polish out some marring when you're finished.
