First, I don't know anything about this except for my personal experience - which I *think* is contrary to how it is supposed to work, LOL.

About four years ago I was on a lot of pain meds for nearly constant migraines. I got off of all of those which was a major chemical change for my body.

I had never been much of a "sweater" before but boy did that change. Just doing the simplest tasks I would sweat like a pig. The doc checked a bunch of stuff (for other reasons) and my thyroid was just barely low, some would call it normal. He prescribed the smallest, tiniest dose of thyroid medicine and I dried right up.

I think that sweating tends to go along with a higher thyroid level but I responded just the opposite. Color me odd.

Go to a good doctor, I imagine that there are probably many different causes. Your sweating may even be a symptom of something else?
