The Chinese make junk and decent products. Its up to you, the consumer, NOT to buy from Wal-Mart type stores that are importing their crap only.
Be real, a $40 pool chair isn't the same as a $400 pool chair. If it were, we would all be driving a "Brilliance" instead of the vehicles we drive. |
First off, Wal-mart sells what people want to buy, at a price they want to pay. They wouldn't where they are are now if otherwise. We as Americans voted with our wallets and it's ridiculous to try to blame Wal-mart for providing what we want.
Secondly, China is about as "Communist" as the Democratic party is "Democratic" or the Republican party is at representing a "Republic". Those factory workers getting paid "slave wages" are among the 250 million Chinese raised out of poverty in the last decade or so. How's that for a supposedly "Communist" country? What would you have them be as an alternative, poverty-stricken farmers with no upward mobility at all? Damned if they do, damned if they don't it seems.
