Actually, I *do* notice a slight difference between the two weights (and I've verified this with blind testing using my two identical PCs), so maybe it's worth using the 6" one for *some* people.

As even a 4" pad, wet with product, weighs a lot more than a single sheet of sandpaper, I use the 6" counterweights exclusively these days.
