Just put some DAWN dish washing soap in a bucket with some water and wash the car with a Brillo or Scotchbite pad....NOT <hehehe> just couldn't resist!

If you're doing wet washes, there are a lot of good auto shampoo products, make sure you use one - BUT, I am an Optimum No Rinse (ONR) convert and you really should explore ONR as a very good, very 'green' car wash method....Imagine getting your car cleaner than it's ever been (with shine) using only 2 gallons of water and a bio-degradable product!
