Re: The Hype Surrounding DWG

Please excuse dumb questions from a noob, but after reading through many threads I am a bit confused.

I have severe rheumatoid arthritis in my wrists and hands so it is a slow and painful process to detail my car (but something I refuse to give up!) so I am trying to make sure that whatever work I do has the most possible impact per energy expended ;-) and am hoping wiser folks will help me figure out the following:

1. Will applying UPGP over DWG increase the total shine/refelctivity of the finish, or just add protection/durability?

2. Is UPGP over DWG thought to be a shinier combination than Opti-Seal over DWG? I am comfortable with the Opti-Seal but I do have some UPGP and will use it if it is likely to provide better shine. (FYI, I have a 2005 satin silver Mustang, and want the most reflection and flake-pop I can get)

3. I recently applied DWG over products I used on my car last year before storing it for the Winter (Vanilla Moose>Red Moose>Opti-Seal). Does this sound OK or would the DWG shine be significantly improved by stripping off the prior products?

TIA for any feedback!
