Re: 2008 Ferrari F430 in Rosso Corsa, presented by Bella Macchina

Prior to Zaino application I wiped with paint with Z6 and a microfiber cloth to ensure the paint was clean and any possible dust that landed on the paint after washing was removed...

Zaino Z5pro was mixed with ZFX and applied for two coats using a Zaino cotton applicator. I recommend applying waxes or sealants in one direction only. For vertical panels use and up and down motion and on horizontal panels use a front to back motion. I also follow this process when washing a vehicle as well. The reason is because straight line marring in one direction will be very difficult to see except at certain angles, where as random or circular motions will install random scratches that are much more visible.

We should never induce marring in the washing or waxing process, but you never know when something my land in the paint. Wipe that contaminant in the door by going front to back and you are creating book shelves that will catch the sun at every angle in the sky and be very visible. Wipe up and down and any marring that may occur on occasion will be hidden from the sun unless at very steep angles.

In between coats is a good time to tend to any details and remaining items. The jambs where wiped down and Zaino All in One was applied to the painted surfaces. 1Z Gummi Pflege was used to condition the rubber stripping. 303 Areospace Protectant was used to wipe down any plastic. Also the leather tool case and luggage was conditioned with 1Z Leather Care to ensure they stay factory fresh.

The tires where dressed with Zaino Z16 Tire Gloss and the rims received two coats of Zaino Z5pro with ZFX. The wheel arches where wiped down with 1Z Cockpit Premium but left undressed to avoid any problem with the Carbon Ceramic breaking system.

Okay enough talking, let’s see some pictures. Also I apologize for the quality of some of the pictures, the sun was going down but it was overcast which made for very difficult (for me) conditions to show the true condition of the car with out over exposing the photo. I did the best I could.
