You'll get the hang of how much to use pretty quick. It's not a bad thing to use too much; it's easily removed. You'll know when you have the perfect amount cause it'll disappear into the paint almost completely. I waaaay overapplied it on this small four door sedan and used about two ounces. One ounce would have done nicely.
Yeah I know, I think I used .5 ounces just on the hood of my GTI.
