Zaino is easier to apply, easier to layer, looks phenomenal, and lasts forever. UPGP is a pain in the butt to apply, you have to wait forever to layer it, and doesn't look it's best til you've waited 12 hours after the final coat and gone over it with a QD. So they both have their pluses/minuses. Yet I'd still vote for UPGP because of the great environmental protection it provides. The cost per application is reasonable, too.

All products have their ups and downs. If Zaino would update their products to provide the environmental protection (and ease of washing) of a carnauba, I'd switch to it and never look back.
I don't understand how so many people think Zaino is so easy to apply. I mean, it isn't difficult, but there are many other products that apply much easier than Zaino.

Opti-Seal is MUCH easier to apply than Zaino. I guess I am one of those people that just caught on easily. I do rarely get a few "high spots", but they are so easy to remove with a quick wipe of the MF, I don't even consider it a big deal at all when it happens.
