Without any pictures it's hard to tell. If they are buffer trails they definately can be removed with a PC as buffer trails are not deep like scratches (ie wash induced swirls). Do you have something like Menz PF106 or Ultrafina or
DACP? Try that with a finishing pad first if it doesn't do it you need to up the pad to a white polishing pad.
