If you are simply trying to remove swirl, I would recommend a different polish like the
Sonus SwirlBuster Polish,
Sonus SFX-2 Enhance Swirl Remover Polish or
Ultima Paint Prep Plus. You can't just use one product and be done when you are using something aggressive. If you are not happy with your end results, then yes, you need to polish again or live with what you have. It sounds like you may just need to concentrate your work.
