I'll say that I'm probably as meticulous about washing as anybody could be, and I work in a clean indoor environment. So I thought I could use the WB without problems and I did, for a *long* time. Then somehow something got between it and the paint and I got a scratch that I never would have instilled without it. Haven't used it on anything I care about since.

For one thing, the WB pretty much lends itself to long, sweeping motions (which I'd never do with anything else). Thus if you *do* get a scratch, it won't be some little 1" long thing And by the time you clean off the WB between passes, you've already caused the scratch.

Yeah...the WB is perfectly safe... right up until something happens, a gamble that everybody has to consider for themself.
