I too just wash them together with no problems. I do wash drying and glass towels by themselves to avoid cross-contamination.
I found that (to my surprise) the "MF Detergents" (scare-quotes intentional
) work a *LOT* better for me than regular liquid detergents. Probably my water, but who knows, they might work better for you too.
