I'm guessing that you spoke with Troy at FK. I came right out and offered to buy an entire production run of it and the bottom line is that, well, don't hold your breath.

I get the feeling that Troy isn't authorized to make an official pronouncement about the future of FX100 and that the powers that be at FK don't want people to give up hope. I can't help but wonder if VOC regs factor into this
It was not Troy, but rather a gentleman with a quite unusual name (Beneton?).
