I have been watching on my DVR several car auction shows (RM and Mecham) and have been SHOCKED
by the paint quality of these high end collections and super high end collections. The cars are covered in swirls, some even with halograms. Yet..........the cars look great under the lights as far as shine goes.
Are they wiping them down with some oil based QD or what?
Second frustration is seeing cars win awards yet the paint sucks. We have the states largest car show and last year the cars in the shows are mainly covered in issues. I am trying to get on the judging this year to help improve that, but they are resistant.
How as a community can we help? I think it can only help us too.
