The strangest thing...

It's funny how when your into detailing you notice the condition of other rides so much more...
I came back from lunch and noticed a bright shiney red car in a visitors spot. From a distance, it looked great and the sun was reflecting off it like it was a red mirror. But as I got closer, oh no, it had the worst swirls I'd EVER seen. These weren't towel marks but a rotary polish gone bad. The swirls were very uniform, like whoever did it had good control and technique - looked to me like it was compounded, but not finished with a polish. But I had to wonder... if the guy was so good as to make such consistent swirls, how could he not finish it properly??? Go figure.
If somebody did this to my car, I'd be real unhappy and I think I'd threaten to sue unless they fixed it or paid to have it fixed!
