With the MF bonnets, I've found *polish* removal to be more problematic than *LSP* removal.

There's more of it, it's thicker, and you generally want to get it off before it dries completely.

FWIW, I do wonder if the larger size is causing issues; I do a lot better with polish *and LSP* removal via Cyclo than via PC. It's just so easy to overload the PC with that ~6" pad, and then it merely "jiggles".

FWIW I do use higher speeds than 3 (usually ~4.5 or so) when doing such stuff with the PC.

I wonder how the Griot's polish removal system would work

He's now selling a dedicated backing pad for the MF bonnets. I (like BigAl3) use a cutting pad, usually a Meg's 7006. Note that the Griot's system is specifically designed to buff off his machine polishes, and those aren't (IME) the most user-friendly polishes in the world either.

Denzil- I dunno if it's really *easier* so much as *different*. I started doing product removal via machine back when I had a shoulder injury; it was the only way I could do the job at all. The motions where simply quite different (and painless) compared to doing it by hand. I've since found that I simply like it better, and where LSPs are concerned I do believe I get a slightly better "burnishing effect" when I buff them off with the machines.

But the only polishes I buff off by machine are the 1Z consumer line stuff, which basically break down into cleaner-wax and can be allowed to dry without issues.
