Lawn care is my other hobby - my wife hates it.

Mower: Simplicity Broadmoor
Turf: KBG, TTTF, PRG

I try to mow when it needs it, not on a schedule (usually 3-4 days) and cut it at 2.5-3.0 inches. I aearate in the fall (dont want spread any seedlings for crabgrass) and will dethatch and overseed every other or every 3 years.

I've used milorganite but switched to Jonathan Green's organic lawn care and the jury is still out on this (Jonathan Green - Lawn and Garden Products). I may switch back to milorganite this year.
