1-2 warmup sets per exercise, then 2-3 working sets. I'd recommend starting out for you to train all upper body on one day, then all legs, abs, calves on another. Train M, W, F and alternate upper, lower, upper, etc, etc. Once you do that for a good 3 months, you can start splitting bodyparts up. All the way to a split like I do where I train each bodypart only once a week, on a 5 day split.
