My DEI (came with my car) remote start works great but I was not up to speed on how they work and assumed, wow, push the button, warm up the car, get in and go. ALSO, and this has happened to me (LOL) if your remote system is "armed" via its out of sight on/off switch and you disconnect the battery, has soon has you reconnect the battery the car WILL START so be careful with those hands!! |
so.... that's how you thought it worked
start with the remote, get in car, trun key to run, tap the brake
also there should be a pin switch on the hood to prevent the battey start problem
