| Re: Project Cars? The 240sx and the Integra would be the easiest to work with. The 300zx (1990+) are a pain in the butt to work on and you need to pull the engine to do any work to the turbos. I had a 96' 240sx and put an SR20DET in it and loved every minute of it. I had NO problems with it (the stock KA or the SR). The only problem was my water pump went out due to a shop incorrectly installing a coolant line in the block (on the SR20). I even put my 240 through 60+ drifting runs (20-25 by me and 30+ by a Formula D driver that used my car as a practice car due to the same suspension as his car) and had no problems.
If you want to make money though go for the 300zx. If you find a wrecked 300zx turbo and bring it back to PERFECT condition. It might make some money. Other than that try old nissan/datsun 280z or 240z. |
