Porsche tried to change their formula for success with the introduction of the 928 and 924/944 series in the 80's. Thankfully, they realized the mistake and return to their original plan and have not diverge from this path (excluding SUV) since.
I see no reason for GM to follow the beat of another drummer when their present plan is true to their past and success.  |
Guys you must have forgotten about the original C4 ZR-1, which had the LT-5.....The LT-5 infact, had DOHC. Only 375HP, which for the mid 90s was very impressive. Lotus actually designed the engine. Pushrods FTW!
